Advanced Clinical Research Services signed a preferred provider agreement with an unnamed top 10 pharmaceutical company to provide clinical data management services.

The Illinois eCRO issued a news release that noted its platform is built on Oracle Clinical and has supported 300 trials since the company’s inception in 1995. “This deal formalizes the longstanding relationship between our respective organizations,” said John E. Fitzgerald IV, Executive Vice President, Operations. “With this agreement, ACRS has committed to maintaining sufficient capacity to ensure the continued delivery of high quality clinical data management services while providing superior customer service.”

ACRS is a technology-enabled and quality-driven contract research organization (eCRO) that provides electronic data capture (EDC), remote data capture (RDC), traditional clinical data management, biostatistics, and medical writing services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies that are performing clinical trials.  It has experience in a variety of therapeutic areas across all phases of clinical development.

ACRS has developed a proprietary EDC application, SureLynx, for early-stage clinical trials, which has been utilized in hundreds of Phase 1 clinical trials. SurePoint, an internally developed web-based clinical data management system (CDMS), has recently been launched and will be available for commercial application by the end of the year.

Troy W. McCall, Ph.D., President and CEO, said, “This agreement is another important milestone in achieving ACRS’s primary strategic objective of establishing long-term, preferred relationships with a core group of key clients. As a result of our exceptional standards for quality, timeliness, and customer service, we have a success rate for repeat business from existing clients that exceeds 90 percent.”
