One large American company accused another of lying to America’s dentists. Procter & Gamble says Pfizer ads for Listerine mouthwash are erroneous. Pfizer has similar complaints about Procter & Gamble’s mouthwash. It’s all playing out in federal court in New York. Some of the numbers are interesting. P&G has spent $63 million to develop Crest Pro-Health mouthwash, and logged $70 million in sales.
