Advanced Clinical Software (ACS) has joined the Clinical Research Forum IT Roundtable. The group brings together industry leaders in clinical research, including solution providers, to develop information technology strategies that benefit the field of clinical research at academic health centers.

There’s not a ton of information about the Roundtable online, but Velos, Huron Consulting Group, and Click Commerce are fellow members.

“We’re excited to have Advanced Clinical Software involved with the IT Roundtable,” said Cherri McGrew, Director of the Clinical Research Forum IT Roundtable. “Working with other [Roundtable] sponsors such as Siemens, ACS will help shape future information technology direction in clinical research.”

The Roundtable is comprised of 51 of the nation’s most prestigious and acclaimed academic health centers. Its goal is to sustain and expand a cadre of talented, well-trained clinical investigators at all stages of career development, and support nurturing environments and comprehensive research capacities within academic institutions.

“Many of the top clinical research centers who are members of the [Roundtable] currently use StudyManager™” said Bruce Schatzman, president of Advanced Clinical Software. “Our work with these institutions allows us to share our experience and to develop best practices. We look forward to working with these industry leaders to help shape the future of clinical research.”
