PharmaLink signed a three-year license to extend its use of Phase Forward’s software for electronic data capture (EDC). PharmaLink dubs itself an electronic contract research organization (eCRO), and said the tools would allow it to be more effective. “We realized InForm’s benefits long ago and have shared many successful implementations with Phase Forward during our strong, six-year partnership,” said Richard Staub, president and chief operating officer of PharmaLink. “Because of the increased efficiency it affords, we integrated InForm with our Web-based clinical trial management and reporting system (CTMS), InfoLink. By leveraging the data visibility afforded by our technology platform, combined with our high efficiency clinical processes, we’ve reduced the time from Last Patient/Last Visit to database lock to between three to eight working days. Phase Forward’s worldwide experience will be particularly critical to PharmaLink as we anticipate future global engagements.”
